Come and see the Flying Scotsman in action. The famous locomotive is coming to the Severn Valley Railway in September 2016.
The Flying Scotsman was originally built in Doncaster for the London and north Eastern Railway.and was designed by Sir Nigel Gresley as part of the A1 class, the most powerful locomotives used by the railway at the time..The flying scotsman has been reconstructed and refurnished in its Bury work shop and was completed and tested early this year in time for its 2016 season of events running from March 12th through to September.25th.
Its final visit will be to the beautiful countryside of Arley whose station sits on the Severn Valley Railway line.
